Inferno Visited by Little Hoopers
Inferno Head Coach Brad Duckworth Talks to the 7th grade team from St. Gregory the Great (12/12/2007) -- On Wednesday night in Reiman Gymnasium, it was the students who became the teachers. The Alverno College women's basketball team took a break from the rigors of final exams and conference play and welcomed the 7th grade girls' basketball team from St. Gregory the Great Elementary School in Milwaukee. Stressing the importance of fundamentals of shooting, defense, and rebounding, Head Coach Brad Duckworth and his players took the young team through some of the same drills that the Inferno use during the season. "This is a great opportunity for us to give something back to the community that supports us," said Coach Duckworth, "and I think it shows our players just how influential of a role they play as female athletes at the college level."
