(2/9/08) - The Muskies of Lakeland College handed Alverno their second straight loss of the week.  The Inferno, who trailed by eight points at half, found themselves down by 18 points with ten minutes left in regulation.  Lakeland  went on a 20-6 run with seven different Muskies finding the bottom of the net.

The Inferno matched the Muskies in shooting percentage, but were unable to get off enough shots to make it count. Lisa Sorgi (So., Milwaukee, WI / Greenfield) continues to pace Alverno’s offense.  She racked up 16 points shooting 8-10 from the floor.  Joslyn Binkowski (Jr., Milwaukee, WI/Greenfield)  also scored in double digits for the Inferno with 11 points. 

Alverno College will travel to Dominican University on Wednesday, February 13th.  Tip-off is set for 7:00pm.
