SPRING 2018 BUSINESS OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENTS
Educational Loan Agreement (ELA)
The Educational Loan Agreement (ELA) and payment arrangements are due Friday, December 8, 2017. The ELA is available in Interactive Online (IOL). Students must complete and return the Agreement each semester that they are enrolled. Please log into IOL and click on "Educational Loan Agreement" under the Financial Information section.
PLEASE NOTE: Beginning with the 2018 tax year, the IRS will require us to report payments received on the 1098-T form, rather than tuition billed. If you pay your spring 2018 tuition prior to January 1, 2018, it will not appear as a payment on your 2018 1098-T statement, which you will receive in January 2019.
Spring 2018 Billing Statements
To view your Account Statement, log into IOL and click on Account Statement under the Financial Information section.
Spring 2018 Book Advances
PLEASE NOTE: Book advances will be available December 13th - February 9th.
In order to be eligible for a book advance, all required financial aid forms must be returned to the Financial Aid Office, and the amount of financial aid must EXCEED the balance due. In addition, students must return the Educational Loan Agreement (ELA) to the Business Office before they will be eligible for a book advance.
If you are eligible for a book advance, your book advance will be available on the Follett website at alvernocollege.bkstr.com within 48 business hours of becoming eligible. You will receive an email notification at your Alverno email address when your book advance is available. To access your book advance you will need an account number, which is your seven-digit student ID number and a pin number, which is your eight digit date of birth (no punctuation).
Pay Online in IOL!
Pay your tuition account online using IOL! Payment options include: e-check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Refunds resulting from a financial aid credit balance on student accounts will not be available until after classes have started and financial aid has been disbursed to student accounts. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of a credit balance occurring on an account. Refunds for the fall semester will begin on February 23, 2017.
