If you need guidance and help on your math-related work and assignments, the Math Resource Center (MRC) provides one-on-one, drop-in assistance. The staff is comprised of trained students who have been recommended as assistants by faculty because of their success with math coursework and their ability to work with others.
The primary purpose of the Math Resource Center is to help you with your understanding of math by responding to your individual questions and concerns. The MRC assistants work directly with you to provide input regarding assignments from math courses and math-related areas such as nursing, education, science, and business and management. The assistant reviews and reinforces math processes with you as you work through problems and assignments, strengthening your understanding of underlying math concepts. In addition, you have access to software applications that allow for practice to support your math work.
The Math Resource Center is located in room LA 415 of the Liberal Arts Administration Building.
