Your academic advisors are an invaluable resource to you. Both professional and faculty advisors are here to assist you in all aspects of your academic career, including course planning, declaring a major, support and problem solving.
Academic Support Services
From the Math, Science or Communication Resource Centers to tutoring and study groups, our Academic Support Services work with you to help you achieve your academic goals.
The Assessment Center helps you by administering, assessing, and facilitating assessments.
The Alverno Bookstore is the place to go for textbooks, course materials and Alverno gifts, gear and apparel.
Career Education Center
Your future is our focus. At the Career Education Center, we help you explore your professional options and prepare you to be in demand in the workplace through seminars, internships, career counseling, resume workshops, job-search strategies and much more.
Cultural Education Center
The Cultural Education Center promotes and implements programs relative to cultural and ethnic diversity awareness and engages with faculty and staff on the benefits of intercultural competency within the Alverno infrastructure.
Diagnostic Digital Portfolio
The Diagnostic Digital Portfolio lets you monitor your learning progress by creating a digital archive of your own academic journey. Use it as an electronic resume for potential employers or graduate school.
Early Learning Center
The Early Learning Center is available to you and your children because we understand and appreciate your priorities as a parent. The center promotes educational and personal development of every child we serve.
We believe that you learn best by doing. As a weekday student, you will be involved in at least one off-campus internship. The experience will give you invaluable insight into your chosen field.
No matter your course of study, there is a study abroad opportunity just for you. We offer study-abroad programs in countries around the world, including England, Japan, Mexico and France.
Because technology is such an important component of your learning experience, we have dedicated three areas on campus to help you gain full advantage: Technology Services, The Media Hub and Information Systems.
