Marketing Management

As a marketing management major, you will gain a greater understanding and ability to help others learn about products, services and resources, and why and how they buy allowing them to make better, more informed buying decisions. This will prepare you for marketing management and related positions in business and nonprofit organizations.

In Alverno's Marketing Management program, you will gain valuable knowledge and abilities relating to marketing systems and processes for products and services. You will learn about product development and how global environmental variables affect international business operations in achieving organizational marketing objectives. You also will learn to use marketing management models and theories to analyze global opportunities and the relationships of systems, organizations, individuals and events.

Careers
With a Marketing Management major, you could become a product manager, have a career in advertising, or work as a promotions manager.

Additional advertising-related careers include working as an art director, media buyer or copywriter. These careers combine the skills and abilities necessary to develop and design products or services, manage customer relationships, determine pricing and promote the product or service.
